Hi

You will need tcl8.3.  Which distro are you using, as there may be a
package for it.  If not, you may have to install it manually.  Tcl8.4
doesn't provide the necessary tcl excecutable, and hence emacspeak
servers still rely on 8.3.

Hello,
I am having some trouble getting the Emacspeak espeak server to work
from SVN. The problem I am having seems to be related to the correct
setting of the DTK_PROGRAM environment variable, as well as possibly my
TCL version. I don't have access to TCL 8.3.  I only have 8.4 Also,
there is no /usr/bin/tcl, or any 'tcl' in my PATH.  I just have tclsh. I
would appreciate any instructions on how to get this to all work. I've
got espeak successfully installed, but the Emacspeak server is giving me
trouble.
