Trouble installing Emacspeak 26

Hello,
	I've had a somewhat serious problem installing Emacspeak 26.
I went through the make config and make emacspeak steps without a 
problem.  
However, for some reason now when I run make install the process fails 
because there doesn't seem to be a linux-espeak directory.  I've 
confirmed this, checking in the servers/ directory.  There's just the 
Espeak file itself.
	I'm using emacspeak26.tar.bz2 from the Googlecode project.
