Of course. This is emacs, after all. There is a long thread in the archives concerning voices and making adjustments. Search for my name. I believe that the information ended up in the info manual as well. Before we get into a discussion on this issue, I would suggest reading at least the info manual section. It is in section 7, Voice Locking. I think this will answer almost if not all of your questions. In the meantime, you can simply toggle voice locking by issuing the command: ,----[ C-h k control e d v ] | control e d v runs the command voice-lock-mode | which is an interactive compiled Lisp function in `voice-setup.el'. | It is bound to control e d v . | (voice-lock-mode &optional ARG) | | Toggle Voice Lock mode. | With arg, turn Voice Lock mode on if and only if arg is positive. | | This light-weight voice lock engine leverages work already done by | font-lock. Voicification is effective only if font lock is on. | | [back] `---- > Another question on pitch control, I would like to increase the pitch > difference when cursoring character by character through a line. > Where are these options controled? Hmmm. Not sure on this one. Not even sure it can be done. Maybe someone else can shed some light on this matter. rdc -- Robert D.
