Am I forgetting something basic? Viavoice and espeak compiled without a hitch on an Intel system running Xubuntu Fiesty but software-dectalk gives the same error it did under emacspeak-26. I forget if it did this for 25, I know it did not in 24 as I still have emacspeak 24 installed along side of 26 (now 27) as it works with the software dectalk. There are still times the software dectalk is an advantage over the other servers and so I would like to get it working if possible. I get this error with both the 4.61 and 4.63 versions of the fonix dectalk runtime. Here is the error: In file included from /usr/local/include/dtk/ttsapi.h:96, from tcldtk.c:28: /usr/local/include/dtk/dtmmedefs.h:197: error: two or more data types in declaration specifiers Here is the full run: priestdo@xxxxxxxxxxx:~/emacspeak-27.0/servers/software-dtk$ make gcc -O3 -fpic -pedantic -ansi -Wall -I/usr/include/tcl8.3 -I/usr/include/tclX8.3 -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -Dclock_t=long -DRETSIGTYPE=void -c -o tcldtk.o tcldtk.c In file included from /usr/local/include/dtk/ttsapi.h:96, from tcldtk.c:28: /usr/local/include/dtk/dtmmedefs.h:197: error: two or more data types in declaration specifiers make: *** [tcldtk.o] Error 1 priestdo@xxxxxxxxxxx:~/emacspeak-27.0/servers/software-dtk$ -Greg -- Greg Priest-Dorman priestdo@xxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help"
