As of 2008 Feb 28, Emacspeak still fails after the unicode merge at the beginning of February 2008. I cannot do `C-n' (next-line) and instead see this error: ad-Orig-next-line: Variable binding depth exceeds max-specpdl-size I haven't the foggiest idea what to do. Anyone have success? In today's GNU Emacs CVS snapshot, Thu, 2008 Feb 28 11:20 UTC, GNU Emacs 23.0.60.20 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.5, configured --with-x --with-type1 --with-x-toolkit=gtk --prefix=/usr/local --with-sound=yes bootstrapped (which takes a long time), and started with export EMACS_UNIBYTE=1 export DTK_PROGRAM=/usr/local/bin/eflite /usr/local/src/emacs/src/emacs -q --no-site-file \ -l /usr/local/src/emacspeak/lisp/emacspeak-setup.el I am using an Emacs from 31 January 2008 for Emacspeak. -- Robert J.
