Up to a short time ago, when I removed the byte compiled file for
emacspeak-advice.el I could hear Emacspeak and run control n
(next-line) but could not byte compile the file.
Now I have successfully byte compiled that file in Emacspeak.
My hunch is that the problem was in Emacs, not Emacspeak, which is
again refusing to recognize an infrequently used font even though
x-fixed-font-alist has it in the current Emacs ...
