Alastair, The command you are running looks wrong to me: AI> cd etc; make config #SRC=/home/alastair/emacspeak First, you are entering into etc subdirectory. Second, you are using sharp sign, which denotes commentary in shell syntax. As a result make config runs in the etc subdirectory with default value of SRC which is current directory - etc in your case. Most likely Emacs cannot find needed files under etc subdirectory. Try to execute in the Emacspeak top-level directory the following command: command: make config SRC=/home/alastair/emacspeak -- Dmitri Paduchikh ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help".
