Auto-reading incoming messages in ERC?

Hello:

How can I get Emacspeak to automatically read messages I type and those 
others type in the ERC client? By pressing c-h m, I could not find any 
command to change this behavior.

Just for info, speechd-el reads them automatically out of the box.
