emacspeak bookshare and viewing books

Hi,

I have the bookshare client working well, so far as I can browse,
download and unpack books.

However I am unable to read books.  I have tried using the V and v
commands from within the bookshare client.  They appear to do nothing,
no error but no output.

Is there any trick to this that I am missing?
