Re: newbie

Gillles from oralux.org has scripted everything so it even makes the speech system, that's the part that constant gives me errors and it takes me sometimes months to get it working 100%.  I usually get speech server not running errors.

This list has always been generous in helping but even better is not having to ask for help.

Gilles if your listening, you did yourself proud with the Arch install scripts, absolutely fool (me) proof.

Best to all.

Very true.  In fact, if you run Ubuntu 14.04, there may even be a
single command for Emacs/Emacspeak.

sudo apt-get install emacspeak

Check the version first to make sure it's not some antequated one like
version 29 or something:

apt-cache show emacspeak

If it's 36 or 38 or something, you should be OK.
