I think the directory which had those lingering .elc files was lisp/g-client. Not sure if it's related since that was a tar ball and I was using Ubuntu. On 06/20/2015 04:31 AM, Steve Holmes wrote:
Well, I did some more digging around including compiling emacspeak in a local branch under my local git repo and I get the same error ad Jude after having done a 'git pull'. It seems that it is complaining that it cannot find xslt-get in acss-xslt.el. And yet, this symbol doesn't exist in my previously installed emacspeak acss-xslt.el either. I see where that symbol is presumabally defined with a defsubst command elsewhere but that definition seeps to be in both of my emacspeak environments so I don't know where to further on this. It got over my head here <frown>. Bottom line: I cannot build the current git version even with just the make files and not using any distro-specific build scripts. I put a typescript file which is world-readable at: http://www.panix.com/~jdashiel/typescript Do I need to edit a package-build file in some way? From what I can tell, emacspeak now has all of its dependencies available on my machine. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help".----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help".
