| Hi from a complete beginner, I just tried for about the hundredth time to build and use Emacspeak on my Mac. I used the instructions at this link: https://gist.github.com/izahn/cd784303663083ee2c95 I have two problems: First, I cannot tell if I was successful. When I start Emacs I get no extra speech and no sounds, so my guess is that I don't have Emacspeak configured correctly. What do I likely need to fix? How will I know when it's working? I'd like to use ESpeak if possible. Second, the control and command keys don't seem to do anything when I'm in Emacs. Why is this? Thanks, Amanda |
