Hi David, The emacspeak voxin installer is released, please read details below. Joyeux noël! Gilles Compatible Debian 9 in text mode and Ubuntu server 18.4 Link copied at the end of this mail [1]. - Use case tested: browse an https website using eww - Without any option, the installer builds emacspeak 49 and uses emacs25 or emacs25-nox provided by the distribution. - The installer does not ask anymore for the superuser password. Instead it creates a file naming the missing packages (build/dep.txt). A very short and easier to review script is provided to install these dependencies as superuser (bin/installDep.sh). - The new --full option installs most of the emacspeak optional dependencies (ladspa, youtube-dl, nodejs,...); expect probably more than one hour to build, +1GB installed on disk. - Build emacs or emacs-nox from git (--emacs, --nox options); expect probably more than one hour to build, +2GB installed. - Build a specific version of emacspeak, or emacspeak from git (--release=version, --release=latest) [1] link: https://soft.oralux.net/emacspeak/emacspeak_voxin_install/ubuntu/18.04/emacspeak_voxin_install-49.0-5.tar.gz ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the emacspeak list or change your address on the emacspeak list send mail to "emacspeak-request@xxxxxxxxxxx" with a subject of "unsubscribe" or "help".
