emacspeak pronouncing every leteter of a word

Hi list,

I use emacspeak + voxin. Whenever i type a word that has number in it, emacspeak pronounce every letter of that word.
This behaviour does not happen when switching to espeak.

Example:
data1
data23

Can anyone advice me on how to fix this?
