Thanks for your quick response. So, I did install homebrew and installed the casc, where is the option to silence vo? Also, it seems very fast to me, when vo speaks a single character, it sounds OK, when emacspeak speaks it, it sounds very fast, as though I had the rate set higher. For instance, if you go into text edit and let vo speak a character as opposed to when emacs speaks it. -- Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it. The question is: How do you spend it?
