Hi Raman, I was having a look at your latest commits and noticed that you mention explicitly that dtk-speech-rate is an internal variable, which meant my use of `defvar-local’ in my config isn’t the right way to do this. So I looked into it and figured out why the value of `Mac-default-speech-rate’ isn’t being applied to dk-speech-rate.
