Greg-- I wish all lists did this after getting used to it from this list. It is easy to fix "I just sent to Greg" by mistake, and it is impossible to fix "I just sent to everyone". Right behavior IMHO. > On Apr 10, 2024, at 11:09, Greg Priest-Dorman (via emacspeak Mailing List) <emacspeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > The list behavior is currently set to work as Zack describes. The thinking is that this helps prevent accidental posting to the list messages that are intended for individuals. Better for the mistake to be "0h, I only sent that to Tim, let me resend it to the list" than "Crap! I just sent THAT to the entire list? I wonder if Greg will remove it from the archive if I ask nicely?" > > I am on lists that are set each of these ways and as you can probably tell, our configuration is what I prefer. That said, I post so infrequently, that I don't count my opinion on this as holding much weight. If we want this changed, it can be. If anyone feels strongly enough about this to start a thread discussing it, please feel free to do so, if you would rather express your views privately to me, that's fine as well. > > -Greg > > > > > > > > On Wed, Apr 10, 2024 at 5:46 AM Zachary Kline <emacspeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Reply to all adds the mailing list in the CC field, as demonstrated here. > Best, > Zack. > Sent from my iPhone > > > On Apr 10, 2024, at 4:55 AM, Ľuboš Pinteš <emacspeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > Hello, > > > > I am using Thubderbird.
