Re: [Emacspeak] Whistler: WSL Emacspeak output for NVDA

Hello and thank for this information. Currently this is not an option for me. I am after cochlear implantation, so I have to adapt to the spoken english somehow.

But anyway good to know that usable dectalk exists for WSL.

I can’t add any useful advice to the specific topic. However, I found the software DECtalk compiled and runs fine under WSL. It may be an alternative for you if you can’t get Whistler to work.

Unfortunately this does not work for me.

Emacspeak thinks everything is ok, but I believe no connection was
established between global plugin and the process under WSL.

Internetworking between Windows and WSL is fairly new for me, so
currently I don't know what to do next.
