Hi,
I’ve put both the wsl speech servers and agent-shell work in a fork of robbert’s emacs-support.
It can be found at:
bartbunting/emacspeak-support: Speech enabling emacs packages
Let me know how it goes.
I will try and fix any issues as time permits.
Kind regards
Bart

I agree with Arkadiusz. Also, hard as it may be to believe, there are emacspeak users not on this list!

Its always worth publishing such things. Even if its one user benefiting, one is greater than zero.

Hi,
Is anyone else using Emacspeak with WSL?
I had found the speech servers sluggish and auditory icons not very clear.
If anyone is interested I now have the software dectalk and outloud servers working using windows for the speech generation and audio output.
In my experience the responsiveness of the speech and audio output is considerably better.
Just gauging interest to decide if it’s worth publishing.
Kind regards
Bart
