Re: Emacspeak eterm and speech questions

Just to clarify the eterm line mode problem: after I enter each command
into a buffer, it is repeated on the screen before execution. It is this
version of the command line, presumably, that the DECTALK spells out,
letter by letter, in such an irritating manner. This is my main problem at
the moment. Another question is what to include in the .emacs file so that
Emacspeak will start with my preferred speech settings.

Extraneous numbers are still occasionally being spoken.

I am sure that I can overcome these difficulties and make Emacspeak work
effectively. I appreciate the use of different voices to indicate specific
aspects of an Info documentation screen, such as highlighted links and the
"previous" and "next" nodes.
