free software speech?

Hi all,

I saw a message this morning where someone said they were going to get a
speech card, and the reply was, why, software speech is free.  what was
that web site again, please.  I have a couple of friend who want to look
at Emacspeak.  If they can do that without buying a software or hardware
synthe, that would be super!
