Is reftex speech enabled?

Dear Emacspeak Users,
I am learning how to use reftex.    I want to insert a reference. 
Here are the steps I take:
1. type C-c (
2. type i  (by accident)
3. enter the select label buffer on the buffer list
4. hit enter on the desired label


This works, but I  don't get any speech when I move up and down in the
select label buffer with C-n and C-p
