About Emacspeak and X Windows, you don't have to run X Windows in order to
use Emacspeak. However, the tclx library which is used by most speech
servers depends on the X libraries, at least on my Debian system. You
should be able to get a separate RPM containing only X libraries and install
that, if it isn't installed already.
