Re: Mbrola-server for Emacspeak available as RPM package.
It's pretty easy: Typing in Emacspeak 'C-e d d' gives you an input line
where you can choose which synthesizer to use. You'll get a line
beginning with 'dtk-'. If you want to fire up Mbrola instead, you replace
'dtk-' with 'mbrola'. Now you only have to activate it with 'C-e C-s' and
Emacspeak should use Mbrola instead of your Dectalk.
To get a default synthesizer, you define the DTK_PROGRAM environment
variable somewhere (emacspeak script or at boot time in the script file
like profile). Wow! I'm becoming an Emacspeak expert :)
