Hi all,
I am interested in taking advantage of the different moicified options
in Emacspeak. right now, I get a different moice in the Info files at
the menu bars, and when I use i-search. I sometimes get it in w3, but
not always. I would like to take advantage of the paragraph notes and
so on.
I have tried the global-voice-lock command but it doesn't seem to do
anything and it conflicted with something I was running,, MICQ I
think, yes, it was MICQ. We wanted the thing to beep when I got a
MICQ msg and putting the 'global'voice'lock' in the .emacs file did
something to prefent that.
I'm running emacs and emacspeak on a pentium, using about 1/3 of a 2.4
gig hard drive. I'm not running x-windows because there isn't
enough room I'm using the Doubletalk synthe, and we have the older
driver, not the one that was recently mentioned by James V.
I've read the info file and I know that this voicification is
possible, and I want it. Please advise. Thanks. If this ties up the
list, you can answer me privately.
If I'm not being clear, please ask me or Matt Campbell, my techie at
long distance, who has been helping me from KS.
