I recently began using auditory icons again after not having done so
in quite some time.
While I do think they are very helpful, I do have a minor issue. I
have a SBLive and a good speaker system. The existing icons don't
sound so great on this system; I usually hear lots of rough buzzing
and such. I'd like to replace the .au files with waves, if possible. I
realize I could probably copy waves over the .au files and keep the
names the same, but this is ugly. I would really like to be able to
somehow rebind the auditory icons to new sound files. Is this
possible?
Thanks in advance.
