This is not directly on topic, but I believe that many people on this list
will find this info particularly useful.
http://www.netlibrary.com
This site offers over 8,000 e-books (several of which are computer-related
texts). Useage options include an online viewing mode through the web, as
well as an option to purchase an electronic copy online. Online purchase
prices are similar to RFB&D's library. Online viewing of *all* texts can be
purchased for less than $3/month.
Most importantly, when viewing a book online, the web pages are not
cluttered with scores of frames and useless clutter. A very speech friendly
site, and a great resource for programming texts.
Best,
Bryan
