Hello,
I have just built and released Red Hat packages (RPM's) for version
11.0 of Emacspeak, a full-fledged speech output interface to Emacs.
You can download the binary and source packages from the following Web
page:

I have also submitted them to the Blinux archive (at
ftp://ftp.leb.net/pub/blinux/) and Red Hat's contrib archive (at
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/contrib/ and numerous mirrors).
In addition to Emacspeak itself, these packages include
emacspeakconfig, a convenient utility for configuring Emacspeak to
work with the user's speech synthesizer. Thanks to Jim Van Zandt
<jrv@xxxxxxxxxxx> for writing this utility and giving me
permission to include it in these packages. Note that the use of
emacspeakconfig is completely optional; users can also use the method
described in the Emacspeak documentation to do the configuration.
