You're right on the button here: Yes, C-e ? had escaped my attention
and boy does this make life easier! Thanks for all the patient
reminders from everyone ;)
I'm still having trouble with the bookmarks, though, and it must be
a bug in the config. I can save bookmarks within a session, but if I
exit and restart Emacs, it refuses to read the old file. Something is
messed up somewhere.
