I installed Caldera and found that it was setup for GUI
use. I didn't find most of the programs or utilities that
I normally used. I also couldn't get emacs to work in it.
Sorry, I didn't try hard as I was just installing a
different
distribution in a new partition just to check it out and
when
I couldn't get it to work easily, I just tried another
dist..
You might try Red Hat, Mandrake, Debian, or Slackware
as they all seem to have all the needed tools.
