Normally I am able to telnet nicely in shell or terminal modes, but
I'm encountering difficulties. I'm trying to play Space Battle
(http://members.home.net/mattdecker/spb.html for details.) Whenever I
try telnetting to the server, either from within a shell-mode buffer
or from a terminal buffer in line-mode, none of the key input
works. That is, I can continuously type 'R' to select an alliance, but
the input isn't excepted unless I'm in a character-mode terminal
buffer.
Normally I would simply use character mode, but since the game is
real-time, entering review mode slows down gameplay. Therefore, is it
somehow possible to configure telnet such that it works in shell-mode,
or in terminal-line-mode?
