When I run the terminal function with M-x term
(Emacs 20.5, emacspeak 11.0) emacspeak does not
speak the standard output resulting from a command.
My default program in the term is the korn shell, /bin/ksh.
I can work around this by redirecting the standard output to
a file and then reviewing the file in an editor.
Is there a way to get emacspeak to speak the standard output in a term
buffer?
Another problem is that most of the emacs keys lose their function
in the term buffer. For example, the C-x key no longer the
command prefix. I cannot find an escape key or sequence
that enables the emacs commands. Is there one?
Thanks for any help here.
Rudy
