The emacspeak.tgz package for Slackware now contains Emacspeak 12.0
and nothing else. I have moved emacspeak-ss to a separate package
(emacspeak-ss.tgz), which includes emacspeakconfig as well. So if you
want to use Emacspeak with IBM ViaVoice Outloud or a DECtalk
synthesizer, and you want to configure it manually, just install the
emacspeak.tgz package. If you want to use Emacspeak with a different
synthesizer or want to use emacspeakconfig, which makes configuration
for your synthesizer easier, install the emacspeak.tgz and
emacspeak-ss.tgz packages, and then run emacspeakconfig as root.
