Excellent case study, thank you.
We are contemplating putting up a Wiki Wiki for creating basic
beginner docs; if you don't know Wiki Wiki, you can see an example
at http://kernelbook.sourceforge.net/wiki but essentially it is a
very easy to modify collaborative writing environment. Perhaps, if
you were to just cut and paste your beginnings of a guide into it,
the rest of us could modify it as our own time permits.
