T.V.> --see file rc.d/init.d/sound
There is no /etc/rc.d/init.d/sound file on my red hat system and no
/etc/init.d/sound file on my debian systems. Under red hat 6.1 Sound
is set up in /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit and by itself that does not do the
trick. Just out of curiosity, could you send your init.d/sound file?
T.V.> there is a sample.mid in /usr/share/sndconfig
I see now, I was searching for files endign in "mid" and it ends in
"midi" which is why I did not find it before, thanks,
Greg
