OSS virtual mixer

This might be a solution to getting multiple sound streams on devices
which don't allow hardware mixing.    Relevant to emacspeak for those
of us who want to use, say Viavoice_TTS and auditory icons on our
laptops.  Anyone spent the money to try this?  If not I'll report
back.
