I've installed emacspeak-12.0 on a couple of non-linux machines. I
installed in my own area since I don't have root access to these
machines.
I remember I had to use gnu-make to do it on Irix at least but didn't
bother tracking down why. With that and the prefixdir set correctly
I don't *remember* any other problems.
What's the problem you're having?
