Dectalk PC with Mandrake 7

Hello:

I recently tried to install emacspeak with a dectalk PC board on Mandrake
7.2.

After installing Emacspeak version 12, and then running the dectalk program,
received screen after screen of compile errors.

Is there any documentation on how to get dectalk PC boards to work with
Emacspeak?
