not quite. i had to remove the power sleep stuff.
and when i'm moving around,
i hear:
t space space y
right again:
space space l
i think it's the :say letter thing.
btw: i'm using nico@xxxxxxxxxxx (nicolus piter)'s module, on this old 386 .
kernel 2.2, slackware root disk. 
added insmod, stty.
:sa le is broken in the pc i think.
and another problem:
if i do c-x k,
it says:
kill buffer:
and it skips the default thing. that intentional?
