I took an accounting course in University which I failed twice before
getting a D on my 3rd try. The lesson that stays with me even today is what
one of my professors said.
Statistics:
figures don't lie but ....
When people make calms like the average income for people with disabilities
is one third of that of every one else, ask this: Are you comparing apples
to apples? If all of society includes everyone and the disabled population
also includes every one of course your numbers will be skued. Now on the
other hand, compare like samples. All people with grade 12, all people with
some post secondary and so on.
I have 2 pieces of paper which entitle me to put letters after my name. I
assure you that the people working along side me make the same money.
Sorry about ranting.
