Re: Incomplete Sentences

I tried the sound card on several different streams, both live and recorded,
on the BBC.co.uk site. All streams except for
one worked fine. The problematic stream consistently exhibited symptoms
similar to those I have been describing with emacspeak  Consequently, I
downloaded irqtune and have attempted to install it per the instructions.
The make is failing after typing "make install" with a "Command not found"
error after (I think) it tries to execute the irqtune runtime in the sbin
directory. irqtune is there and is a non-printable file of some kind, but it
will not execute.  The standard terminal and error output are as follows:

This may not be the most appropriate place for me to ask for help on shell
commands.  But again, I have only just arrived off the Microsoft farm, know
nothing of Linux, and I am here just to make emacspeak functional on my
machine. Others on this newsgroup may have been through this already and may
be able to help.. Any help in figuring out the above error in the irqtune
compile, load, and link process would be very much appreciated.
