You won't get very far using Pine with emacspeak. If you really want pine, use speakup.
Or, learn rmail or vm with emacspeak, but beware, you can't easily go back and forth between emacs mail readers and pine because of the different
mailbox formats each uses. There is a way, but it requires extra steps.
