Installing stdiosynth.

Hello, list. I have been fighting with Viavoice for what seams like forever.
I've finally discovered the reason it isn't working because of a missing
dependancy stdiosynth. I hence found it on the blinux ftp site, but I do not
know how to install it.
Please, can someone tell me where to put this file so that Viavoice and the
Emacspeak themes will work.
Please, be specific, because I mostly have used speakup, and am not vary
familiar with emacspeak.
However, I am in a posision where I need software speech, and that spells
emacspeak.
