Hi.

Jaws will work with flash, but it is often a hit and miss thing. Flash is
really not the choice for accessability, and you will most likely find alot
of visually impared people will be more frustrated with flash. If you choose
flash and javascript know that you will be restricting the visually impared
user to Jaws/Window Eyes, MS Windows, and Internet Explorer.

As for Freedom Scientific porting Jaws to another operating system I've
asked them several times tthe answer I got was an infatic no. They refuse to
develope applications for another os besides Windows.
However, Baum is ccurrently writing a screen reader for Gnome called
Gnopernicus which gives a visually impared computer user access to X-Windows
applications via the Gnome 2.0 desktop.
