The Microsoft eula's routinely restrict disassembly and reverse
engineering.  Microsoft rarely provides source code, and never for
operating systems.  This makes the use of Microsoft products an automatic
violation of software engineering principles.  I don't think anyone here
is prepared to state that Microsoft doesn't sell commercial software.
