Re: speakup and emacspeak



Hi, Jason. The information given below is not correct.You don't need two
kernels, but to run emacspeak and speakup using the same synth you will need
to have two
boot options in your lilo.conf or grub.conf depending which boot loader you
are using.
They will be almost identical accept you may title one boot option speakup,
and have an append line like this:
append=speakup_synth=dectlk
The other I would simply title normal boot, and remove all references to
speakup in the append line.
When you want to load with out speakup when the boot loader screen comes up
down arrow and press enter on the normal boot option.
