emacspeak on FreeBSD

Hello,
	Has anyone successfully ported or ran emacspeak on FreeBSD? I'm trying
to get speech running under this OS and would like to use Emacspeak. I
haven't tried a source compile yet, if anyone has any experience with
this please let me know.
