Re: question about emacspeak-websearch
Though the right thing to do in this case was to delete the lines of
code in question --which should not have been there really speaking in
the first place,
your message about advice was definitely not off topic.
For those who did read and understand Tim's note -
one could have forced emacspeak-websearch to always use w3m with a two
line advice (albeit a hack)--
(defadvice emacspeak-websearch-dispatch (around emacspeak pre act comp
(let ((browse-url-browser-function ...))
ad-do-it))
Notice that the above neatly configures
browse-url-browser-function to be what ever you want for the duration
of the websearch call.
