First of all, fetchmail has nothing to do with sending mail. This is
done with something on the order of either sendmail or qmail. 

In the emacs customization section, alt-x then spell out the word
customize, you will find a section called "link to mail." In this, it
will be possible to set up the link to whatever mail transport
agent(MTA) you might be using.
