more dtk-soft and dectalk version 5 issues

I just noticed something else interesting with version 5.0 of the
software dectalk. When all speech is completed and the system is
"idle" the load goes up to using 100% of cpu. As soon as you do
something which again starts speech, the load drops down. 

Anyone else noticed this?

I'd like to try to fix things up, but have no documentation regarding
the software dectalk api. Has anyone else got some documentation which
explains more of the API or is this only available if you purchase it
from fonix?
